Make Your iPad Battery Last Longer!
Want your iPad to stay on longer without charging? Try these easy tricks:
Easy Ways to Save Battery
- Turn on Battery Saver - Swipe down from the top-right corner and tap the battery button. This makes your battery last much longer!
- Make your screen less bright - Swipe down from top-right and move the brightness slider down. Your eyes and battery will thank you!
- Stop apps from working in the background - Go to Settings > General > Background App Refresh and turn it off. Apps won't use battery when you're not using them!
- Turn off location for apps - Go to Settings > Privacy > Location and choose "While Using" or "Never" for apps. This stops apps from tracking where you are all the time.

- Use Wi-Fi when you can - Wi-Fi uses less battery than cellular data, so connect to Wi-Fi whenever possible!
- Close battery-hungry apps - Swipe up from the bottom and hold, then swipe away apps like games and videos when you're done with them.
- Try Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Display & Brightness and tap Dark. It looks cool and can save battery!
Taking Care of Your Battery
- Keep your iPad comfortable - Don't leave it in very hot or cold places. Batteries don't like extreme temperatures!
- Use Smart Charging - Turn on Optimized Battery Charging in Settings > Battery to keep your battery healthy longer.
- Take off thick cases when charging - Some cases can make your iPad get hot while charging, which isn't good for the battery.
- Use the right charger - Always use Apple chargers or ones that say "Made for iPad" for safe, proper charging.
