Changing Your Lock Screen & Home Screen
Make your iPad look awesome by changing the pictures on your lock screen and home screen! You can use your own photos or choose from Apple's cool pictures.
Changing Your Lock Screen

Wake up your iPad and go to your lock screen. Touch and hold anywhere on the lock screen until you feel a little buzz.

Tap the blue plus button at the bottom of the screen to add a new wallpaper.

Choose where to get your picture from:
- Photos: Pick from your own pictures
- Collections: Use Apple's pretty pictures
- Color: Just use a simple color background

Tap on the picture you like and adjust it by pinching to zoom in or out.

Tap "Add" and then choose if you want to use it for your:
- Lock Screen only
- Home Screen only
- Both screens
Cool Tip: You can also change how the clock looks on your lock screen! Tap on the clock while customizing to see different styles.
Changing Your Home Screen

Go to your home screen and touch and hold an empty area until the apps start wiggling.

Tap the plus button at the top of the screen.

Tap "Wallpaper" from the menu that appears.

Choose a picture from your photos or from Apple's collections.

Adjust the picture how you like it and tap "Set."

Choose if you want the picture on your "Home Screen," "Lock Screen," or "Both."
Fun Fact: You can make your wallpaper change automatically throughout the day! Look for "Photo Shuffle" when choosing your wallpaper and pick how often you want it to change.
Using Focus Mode with Wallpapers
Did you know you can make your wallpaper change automatically when you turn on Focus mode (like Parish Council Focus or Sleep Focus)?

Go to Settings and tap on "Focus."

Tap on a Focus (like "Sleep" or "Parish Council").

Tap "Choose" under the Wallpaper section.

Pick a special wallpaper for this Focus mode.
What's cool about this? Your screen can look different when you're in Parish Council mode versus play mode!
